Wellness — Psammotherapy
The Quartz Bed
A bed of 180 kilograms of warm alpha-quartz sand that moulds to the body — deep warmth, weightlessness, and a nervous system allowed to come down.
Start a conversation01 — The concern
Tension that massage alone doesn't quite reach. A nervous system that won't come down, shallow sleep, a body that hasn't felt weightless in a long time.
02 — What it is
A wellness bed filled with roughly 180 kilograms of alpha-quartz sand, warmed and infinitely adjustable, that moulds to the body like sun-heated beach sand — the modern form of psammotherapy, sand therapy. It can tilt into gentle inversion to decompress the spine, add a slow wave massage through the surface, or simply hold you in warm stillness — on its own or underneath a massage.
03 — What it feels like
45–90 minutes on its own, longer when combined with massage. Clients describe it as floating in warm sand — cocooning, heavy-limbed, half asleep.
04 — Downtime
None. Warm tea, water, and no reason to hurry anywhere.
05 — Sessions
As often as it serves you — once or twice a week as a standing ritual, or as the warm foundation under other treatments. There is no course to buy.
06 — Our take
The quartz bed makes no medical claims at all — and that is precisely its charm.
It is a relaxation experience, not a treatment: warmth, weight and stillness, done exceptionally well. We use it where those things are the honest answer — tension, restlessness, recovery — and never pretend it's more.
